We believe that education is a powerful tool for change and development, and we extend our commitment to supporting students, teachers, and volunteers alike in their journey towards a brighter future.

What We Do

  • We provide grants for impoverished vulnerable children to attend Children’s Village Thailand.

  • We provide scholarships for Children’s Village’s older students to high school and University.

  • We provide subsidies and grants for U.S. students, teachers and volunteers to travel to Children’s village and study/volunteer.

Our Team

  • Marvin Blunte

Marvin is a 25 year film and television veteran. After directing a documentary about Children’s Village, he decided to found a non profit dedicated to the school and the children of Thailand after overwhelming cries of public support .

His smartest move was teaming up with two incredible women who have far more experience in the non profit and education sectors. Together he feels they make the perfect team, and hopes his media savviness can help keep the cause in the public eye.

  • Charinee Philips

Charinee has been managing projects to promote trade & tourism for Thailand Government Agencies in the USA for over 15 years.

She has passions in travel, food, and volunteering in non-profit organizations such as Pencils for Kids inc., Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association, and Thai Associations.

She received recognition for her social contributions from President Obama and the City of Los Angeles.

  • Ellen Cowhey

Ellen Cowhey spent three formative years as a teacher of English at Moo Baan Dek in Thailand, where she first learned about the importance of preparing students to participate as democratic citizens by witnessing them practice democracy in their school system.

Today, she serves as the director of the Journalism Collaborative at The Masters School in New York, where she encourages students to practice democracy by investigating, writing and reporting the truth in their local community via newspaper, web, social media and broadcast journalism.
